Removal
Instructions
Buyers of any refrigerator(s),
freezer(s) and/or air conditioning units that are not self contained
are responsible for removal and recovery of refrigerant in each piece
of equipment as well as disconnecting the wiring from the disconnect
switch. There are two (2) options for Buyers:
OPTION 1
(this is the only option for 2 Volrath and
1 Bally walk-in units)
Buyer can bring in their own licensed refrigeration mechanic to reclaim
or pump down refrigerant into condenser and receiver, seal the lines
and disconnect wiring from the disconnect switch.
If a buyer chooses this option,
buyer must agree to the following disclaimer:

Buyer # _______ am solely responsible for hiring a licensed professional
for the removal and recovery of refrigerant in each piece of equipment
I purchased, as well as disconnecting the wiring from the disconnect
switch. Recovery or reclamation of refrigerant fluid shall be performed
by a licensed refrigeration mechanic in a manner such that no venting
of refrigerant fluid occurs.
As the Buyer, I assume all
risk and liability whatsoever resulting in the removal and recovery
of refrigerant in each piece of equipment purchased, as well as disconnecting
the wiring from the disconnect switch. Neither Auctioneer nor Seller
shall be liable for breach of Federal, State and Local regulations for
reclaiming, recovery and/or recycling of refrigerant fluid. Buyer shall
defend, indemnify, and save harmless Seller and Auctioneer from any
liability or personal injury on the sale premises from the removal and
recovery of refrigerant and/or the wiring disconnect.

OPTION 2
Buyer can use Brian Tomlinson. Brian is a licensed refrigeration mechanic,
familiar with Goodnoe’s equipment. Brian will be on-site during
the auction on Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st. Brian
will pump down refrigerant into the condenser and receiver, seal the
lines and disconnect wiring from the disconnect switch. Removal and/or
disassembly of equipment beyond pumping down refrigerant into the condenser
and receiver, sealing the lines and disconnecting wiring from the disconnect
switch is the sole responsibility of the owner.
Cost for each refrigerator
or freezer service performed by Brian Tomlinson is: $100.00. Payment
for this service is CASH ONLY.
Payment is due when paying
Auctioneer for equipment. Cashier will issue a receipt to the Buyer.
Buyer gives receipt to Brian Tomlinson as proof of payment. Buyer shall
defend, indemnify, and save harmless Seller and Auctioneer from any
liability or personal injury from any work performed by Brian Tomlinson.
Payment constitutes agreement with the above terms.
